The Shipping/Receiving Specialist is a vital member of the NewPower team, responsible for shipping and receiving electronic components and managing inventory. The primary responsibilities of the Shipping/Receiving Specialist include: Responsibilities Identify, schedule, and manage cost-effective inbound and outbound shipments; handle necessary paperwork; and maintain data in the appropriate systems. Inspect products to ensure they meet

specifications. Collaborate with sales, purchasing, customer service, order management, and transportation providers to ensure a smooth and timely flow of materials. Implement quality checks and double-checks to ensure 100% correct shipments. Document any discrepancies and notify the supervisor and/or commodity manager. Utilize an automated system to enter and complete import/export paperwork. Handle all electronic components/products in accordance with ESD training. Develop and maintain processes and procedures to ensure accurate inventory counts. Assist in maintaining inventory value levels according to corporate goals. Perform physical cycle counting on a monthly basis and participate in leading the annual physical inventory process; responsible for accounting transactions related to cycle counting and physical inventory. Requirements 3-5 years of experience in shipping/receiving, warehouse operations, and import/export, with knowledge of UPS, DHL, and FedEx shipping systems. Experience in the electronics industry is a plus. Familiarity with inventory control, cycle counts, RMA/VRMA processes Demonstrated initiative, attention to detail, and adherence to timelines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Self-directed with the capacity to overcome obstacles in order to meet deadline.
