Job Summary:

American Tool & Die is seeking a team player to join our Shipping and Receiving team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to ensuring accurate and timely order fulfillment. A strong focus on safety, attention to detail, and reliability are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
Packing and Labeling:

Prepare merchandise for shipment by packing items securely. Wrapping and labeling packages accurately with shipping information.

Shipping Documentation:

Ensure all shipping documents are accurate and complete, including packing lists, shipping labels, BOLs, and any other forms.

Inventory Management:

Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and track the status of outgoing shipments.

Carrier Coordination:

Coordinate with shipping carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries, ensuring timely and cost-effective shipping.

Tracking and Monitoring:

Load outgoing freight with carriers. Monitor shipments to ensure timely delivery and address any issues that may arise.

Receiving Clerk Duties:

Perform receiving clerk duties, which involve unloading trucks, placing goods in storage, inspecting merchandise for accuracy and damage, and updating inventory records.

Communication:

Engage with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude, addressing any questions or concerns. Maintaining a

Clean Work Area:

Maintain a clean, neat, and organized work area. Material Handler The ability to operate a forklift safely and follow all safety procedures. Safely remove coil from a flatbed truck and place them is a secure designated area. Remove pallets from the floor along with emptying scrap hopper as needed. Keep all containers and coils in an organized location daily. Pull part for each press as need to have material and container ready for the current and upcoming job. Making sure the next coil is loaded on to a coil cart for the operator’s next job. You will need the ability to operate an overhead crane safely. Moving coils from the shop floor to a coil feeder Wrap and weigh the container as needed to prepare them for shipment. Qualifications Strong organizational skills for effective order fulfillment Proficient in logistics and supply chain management Experience with inventory control and distribution center operations Familiarity with transportation management systems and planning Knowledge of packaging processes Ability to operate forklifts and cranes safely Background in procurement and logistics

Schedule:
