Shipping & Receiving Associate 2.8 2.8 out of 5 stars 1080 Shop Rd, Columbia, SC 29201 Bridgestone HosePower, LLC is the Premier distributor of hydraulic and industrial hose products for over 39 years. Due to current, as well as projected growth, HosePower is looking for a business minded, team and action-oriented Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our growing Operations Team. Prepare and ship all outgoing small package and LTL orders. Utilize computer system to ship, check order status, scan orders. Put away all received in stock or put in order staging area if allocated to jobs or orders. Validate daily paperwork for accuracy, research and correct errors, as needed. Wrap and pack all outgoing shipments. Inspect, count, sort, package and ship goods from our facility to customers or other branch locations. Inspect all items or orders against issued sales order. Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization. Other warehouse duties, as assigned.
Qualifications:
Computer savvy – Comfortable with Microsoft product suite. Experience in materials/warehouse environment. Ability to plan, prioritize, and use work time efficiently. Attentive to detail and inspection of products. Prior UPS and LTL motor freight shipping experience. Forklift certified preferred.
