Job Responsibilities:
Receives all shipments as required verifying incoming material against packing slip/purchase order for accuracy and book them in SAP. Investigation of supplier shipment discrepancies. Report over/under shipments to supplier and supervisor for immediate resolution. Conveys materials between designated areas and performs all inventory transactions between control points. Verifies all labels and tags including shipping paperwork and supplier ASN. Participates in all inventory checks and cycle counting activities. Stocks product in assigned areas. Promotes clean shipping and receiving supply area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Participates in problem solving and continuous improvement activities. Performs various housekeeping activities. Trains other employees as needed. Requirements for Job Holders High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to understand the sequence of production and workflow operations undertaken within the receiving function. Ability to use ERP system, preferably SAP. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure. Flexibility to work across shifts or on weekends when needed Ability to lift up to 40lbs Ability to operate a forklift. Proficiency in operating a computer using email, Microsoft office and ERP system.
