Job Summary:
The Bilingual Shipping and Receiving Associate is responsible for overseeing the timely and accurate preparation, packaging, and shipping of cabinet products to customers, retailers, and job sites. This role ensures all orders are fulfilled correctly, coordinates with shipping carriers, and maintains documentation to track outgoing shipments.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate the daily shipment schedule of cabinets and related products. Inspect and verify cabinet components before packaging and shipping. Ensure accurate labeling and documentation (e.g., packing slips, BOLs). Communicate with freight carriers to schedule pickups and manage delivery timelines. Work with the production and sales teams to ensure customer orders are shipped on time. Monitor inventory of shipping materials and order supplies as needed. Maintain accurate shipping logs and records. Address and resolve shipping issues or delays promptly. Ensure products are packed securely to avoid damage during transit. Adhere to safety regulations and company policies within the warehouse. Performs other clerical duties.
Required Qualifications:
Bilingual Spanish/English
REQUIRED
Previous experience in assembly and warehouse operations required. Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical tasks. Experience with basic warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) is required. Good time management and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with shipping software, freight logistics, and inventory systems.
