What you will be doing As our Shipping/Receiving Specialist, you will be responsible for administrative functions to facilitate material movements to and from our warehouse. Specifically, this will include: Verifying proper packaging requirements before shipment; Shipping and receiving products safely, accurately, and in compliance with applicable regulations; Creating accurate shipping documentation; Matching purchase orders with received goods to verify counts and ensure accuracy; Communicating with freight haulers to schedule deliveries and pick-ups; Other duties as needed, including but not limited to operating a forklift, loading and unloading trailers, determining efficient use of warehouse space and storing material on a rotational basis. As well as your verifiable high school diploma or GED, you should have at least three years’ experience handling shipping documentation and material movement. Computer proficiency, particularly with Microsoft Dynamics, is desired. Forklift certification, the ability to periodically lift 55 lbs, and the ability to wear a respirator are required.
