This role involves leading the warehouse team to ensure efficient workflows, high productivity, and alignment with organizational goals. The Warehouse Manager plays a key role in developing strategies to optimize warehouse performance, enforce policy compliance, and maintain a clean, safe, and organized working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operations of the warehouse including receiving, unloading, staging, storing, and distributing inventory. Lead, mentor, and manage warehouse staff, including supervisors, clerks, and material handlers, to ensure accurate and timely task execution. Develop and implement staffing schedules, approve PTO, and manage time and attendance records in coordination with Human Resources and Payroll. Drive operational excellence by establishing warehouse performance metrics and implementing continuous improvement initiatives. Coordinate all inter-branch and vendor-related inventory transfers and manage logistical workflows for deliveries and pickups. Maintain optimal use of warehouse space by reviewing and updating storage plans and recommending layout and process improvements. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and security regulations, including the use of PPE and completion of safety training. Report all incidents and injuries promptly and ensure follow-up actions are taken in accordance with company policy. Collaborate with senior leadership to align warehouse goals with broader organizational objectives and contribute to strategic planning. Manage departmental budgets, equipment procurement, and vendor relationships as necessary. Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by senior leadership.

Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field preferred Minimum 3-5 years of progressive experience in warehouse operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record No history of drug or alcohol abuse
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, climb, and move throughout the warehouse for prolonged periods Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. or more Ability to push, pull, crouch, grasp, and reach Ability to operate and train others on electronic warehouse devices and equipment Capacity to adapt to a high-volume, fast-paced environment and act as a proactive problem solver
