Distribution Manager Position Available In Talladega, Alabama

Distribution Manager Talent Wave Associates, LLC Talladega, AL 35160 Are you ready to lead and optimize a dynamic supply chain operation? Our client is looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented professional to oversee their supply chain, warehousing, and logistics operations. This role is pivotal in enhancing international trade, shipping efficiency, and warehousing strategies. Develop and nurture relationships with both domestic and international suppliers. Ensure compliance with tariff codes, trade agreements, and duty regulations. Identify new sourcing opportunities to enhance cost, quality, and lead times. Manage import and export operations, ensuring adherence to international trade regulations, HTS tariff codes, and customs requirements. Optimize freight strategies and collaborate with carriers and third-party logistics providers to improve service levels while minimizing costs. Implement warehouse storage optimization strategies to improve picking, packing, and shipping efficiency. Develop, track, and enhance Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure supply chain efficiency. Present data-driven insights using Power BI, Excel, and other analytics tools, offering recommendations to senior leadership. Ensure DOT compliance. Experience with Epicor is a plus.

Experience & Qualifications:

Proven experience in logistics management, warehousing, packaging, and supply chain within a manufacturing environment. Excellent communication and leadership abilities. Stable work history. Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is highly preferred.
