Warehouse Manager Location:

Jacksonville, FL We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager who is responsible for overseeing the daily efforts within our fulfillment operation. This leader will be able to gather and analyze data, in order to drive continuous improvements, and ensure that the team properly executes daily work and projects at the highest level of quality for our clients. The Warehouse Manager will have led salaried leaders in a similar role and will be adept at communication, organization, and customer service. Our goal is to hire someone who will be dedicated to ensuring our operation is cost-effective while also increasing sustainability and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities will include:

Leading the building to accomplish established KPI’s in the assigned warehouse Addressing client concerns if there are unexpected variances in the operation Reviewing costs and ensuring that activities within the warehouse are within budget Monitoring and auditing the operations, space management and inventory within the warehouse Promoting the company culture within the team Ensuring that the training and development is occurring for all team members as required Ensuring the adherence to the company’s safety policies and procedures Overseeing the maintenance and cleanliness of the assigned warehouse Participating in the interviewing and hiring of potential candidates for salaried warehouse roles Reviewing and participating in the administering of disciplinary actions when needed Attending Process Improvement meetings and driving sustainable corrective actions for quality issues Participating in on site visits and leading occasional tours with clients Skills should include: Candidate will have 8+ years of supervisory/management experience in a fulfillment operation to include 2+ years of leading salaried leaders. Bachelor’s Degree is preferred. An in depth understanding of warehouse safety requirements under OSHA regulations Effective communication, including writing, speaking and interpersonal communication Quick critical thinking and problem-solving abilities Excellent customer service and client relations skills Excellent organization and time management skills Outstanding team building skills Proven understanding of Lean Six Sigma concepts Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Advanced data analysis abilities Expert inventory management Ability to use computers, software and other technology for production, inventory and communication purposes is required Understanding of the complete supply chain, including common obstacles and effective solutions Experience in Propago or similar Marketing/WMS system is a plus.
