• Job Summary
• The Yard Manager will oversee all yard operations, ensuring efficient management of inventory and timely order fulfillment. This role requires a strong focus on logistics, customer servicxe, and process improvement to optimize yard performance.
• Duties
• Manage yard activities including shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment
• Manage inventory, including monthly inventroy counts
• Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity
• Coordinate with various teams to ensure smooth operations and timely deliveries
• Oversee profit loss within the yard and implement strategies for improvement
• Facility and yard maintenance
• Motivate and train yard and warehouse employees
• Experience
• Proven experience in operations management, preferably in a yard or warehouse setting. 2 years experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of shipping and receiving processes Strong knowledge of inventory management including cyle counting.
• Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to optimize yard performance
