Role Overview We are seeking a hands-on, driven Distribution Manager to lead our Fort Myers distribution center. This role requires complete ownership, unwavering dedication, and a relentless commitment to operational excellence. As Distribution Manager, you will be responsible for every aspect of our distribution operations, ensuring smooth, efficient, and safe processes each day. You will supervise and support a growing team of 10 employees working in the DC and on delivery trucks. You will actively engage in all daily activities—including receiving, staging, preparation, quality control, and delivery. Your leadership will set the tone for the team, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

Oversee all daily distribution center operations to ensure work is completed accurately, on time, and safely. Supervise, support, and develop a strong and stable team of employees. Ensure efficient and accurate inventory management and order fulfillment. Proactively identify and resolve operational challenges, learning from issues to prevent recurrence. Maintain a visible, engaged presence on the floor, setting a positive example for the team. Essential Qualities Strong Communication Skills Clearly and effectively communicate with team members and other departments to ensure alignment and success. Leadership by Example Remain actively involved on the floor, modeling a strong work ethic, respect, and accountability to inspire your team. Problem-Solving & Critical Thinking Quickly identify issues, analyze root causes, and implement effective solutions to keep operations running smoothly. Adaptability & Continuous Improvement Embrace change, encourage innovation, and drive a culture of continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment. Technical & Operational Proficiency Demonstrate expertise in warehouse management systems, logistics processes, and safety regulations to optimize performance and ensure compliance.
