The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the daily activities of the warehouse, ensuring efficient processes, and maintaining high standards of safety and productivity. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse management, logistics, and process improvement to optimize our distribution center’s performance. Duties Oversee all warehouse operations, including inventory management, shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment. Implement and maintain effective warehouse management systems to streamline operations. Manage transportation management systems and fleet management to ensure timely delivery of goods. Collaborate with third-party logistics (3PL) providers to enhance service levels and reduce costs. Monitor and improve processes related to dispatching and distribution center activities. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies within the warehouse environment. Identify and implement process improvements. Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as needed Qualifications Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar role within a distribution center setting. Minimum 5+ years of managerial experience Proven track record or reliability, leadership, and integrity. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Ability to work alone. Familiarity with transportation management systems and fleet management practices. Experience with inventory systems and warehouse software ; Knowledge in ODOO and SAP a MAJOR plus! Strong analytical skills for process improvement initiatives. Forklift certification a plus. The position is for a very small distribution center warehouse where the manager will be working solo in fulfilling orders efficiently.
