Job Summary:

Onboard Logistics is seeking an experienced and dedicated Warehouse Manager to join our team. The primary focus of this role is to oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and high productivity standards are consistently met. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, a deep understanding of supply chain processes, and proven experience with transportation management systems and fleet operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise warehouse staff and coordinate daily operations to ensure efficiency in dispatching and receiving. Manage inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock counts and timely replenishment. Oversee inventory control and reconciliation processes to maintain data accuracy and accountability. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the warehouse. Handle warehouse documentation and clerical tasks with accuracy and consistency. Balance hands-on cargo management with strategic planning and oversight responsibilities. Implement and maintain transportation management systems to optimize logistics processes. Oversee fleet management activities, including maintenance scheduling and compliance with safety regulations. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless supply chain operations. Develop and manage budgets related to warehouse operations, including tracking overtime and operational costs. Proactively identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements:

Proven experience in warehouse management or a related field. Strong knowledge of supply chain processes and transportation management systems. Proven experience in inventory control and reconciliation. Familiarity with warehouse documentation and operational workflows. Experience in dispatching, fleet management, and operations management is preferred. Strong budgeting skills with experience in profit and loss analysis, including cost tracking. Exceptional organizational skills and a proactive approach to continuous improvement. Ability to balance strategic oversight with hands-on involvement in daily warehouse activities. Comfort with email communication and general clerical tasks. Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

Primarily warehouse-based with moderate noise levels and exposure to moving equipment. Requires standing, walking, and occasional lifting (up to 50 lbs). May involve extended periods of physical activity and hands-on warehouse work. Must be able to manage multiple tasks under pressure and meet deadlines. Why Join Us?
