Warehouse Manager Sales Peak Inc DBA Organo Republic 3719 NW 50th Street, Miami, FL 33142 Job description We are looking for a full time hardworking, dedicated, and ambitious Warehouse Manager to support our company’s manufacturing operational processes and procedures. This role is crucial in ensuring that our production goals are met efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. The Production Manager will be responsible for managing the production team, optimizing processes, and implementing improvements to enhance productivity. Will help manage and oversee the receiving, handling, storing, picking and packing activities within the warehouse, ensuring quality standards are met at every turn. The ideal candidate is exceptionally detail-oriented and can track multiple facets of the warehouse at any time.
Warehouse Manager Responsibilities:
Supervise and lead production teams to meet daily, weekly, and monthly targets. Plan product balances and organize production to ensure timely completion. Maintain accurate production records, reports, and key performance indicators (KPIs). Coordinate scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation for production lines. Recruit and train new warehouse employees to ensure a skilled workforce. Ensure quality control standards are upheld throughout the production process. Organize team-building events to foster collaboration and morale. Implement lean manufacturing principles to enhance efficiency and reduce waste. Follow specific work instructions and best practices to safely and accurately complete daily assignments. Organize stock and maintain inventory levels. Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure accuracy. Collaborate with supply chain management to ensure the timely availability of materials required for production. Coordinate pick-ups and shipping content in conjunction with the online inventory manager to ensure seamless operations. Check the state of equipment and manage its operation. Repair minor breakdowns of packaging equipment as needed. Communicate problems, concerns, and ideas to identify process improvements. Assist with various warehouse maintenance tasks, including organizing space, sweeping floors, and storing equipment. Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications Requirements:
5+ years of experience in manufacturing & warehouse management.
Bilingual Communication:
Must be bilingual (English & Spanish) for effective communication with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Leadership Skills:
Strong leadership abilities with a proven track record in managing production teams and promoting a collaborative work environment.
Production and Inventory Management:
Experience with production scheduling, inventory control, and quality assurance practices to ensure operational efficiency and high standards.
Lean Manufacturing Knowledge:
Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies to drive efficiency and minimize waste.
Data Analysis:
Ability to analyze production data effectively and implement process improvements based on findings.
Technical Proficiency:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, ERP systems, and production management software for enhanced productivity and reporting accuracy.
Problem-Solving Skills:
Strong problem-solving skills to address equipment issues and operational challenges promptly.
Organizational Skills:
Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines effectively.
Interpersonal Skills:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with team members, management, and external partners.
Safety Knowledge:
Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations to ensure compliance and workplace safety.
Maintenance Abilities:
