Job Description
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing warehouse operations. These operations include shipping, inventory, delivery. Your goal will be to increase operational efficiency and ensure a safe environment. Responsibilities The Manager is responsible for scheduling the work of all warehouse personnel during its shift ensuring that all shipments and customer orders are accurately cut, packed, shipped and timely released The incumbent is expected to work hands-on during the shift and will assist in making personnel decisions including recommendations for hiring, terminations, training, safety, etc This person will also be required to operate a forklift Understands and applies all policies and procedures, including Human Resources, operational, fire prevention, and safety Maintains production records and shift logs Processes payroll in a timely and efficient manner Issues attendance warning letters and notifies HR when employees reach maximum attendance points Leads and participates in safety and production meetings Qualifications Prior experience working as a warehouse manager – 2 years minimum Fully Bilingual (English and Spanish) Has to have experience with SAP Products/Warehouse/Logistics Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Excel and Word) Bachelor’s Degree required
