In 2024, the organization expanded into the U.S. market through the launch of its distribution division, which has quickly become the fastest-growing sector of the business. As part of this ongoing growth, our client is opening its first U.S.-based warehouse in Dade City, Florida—marking a significant step in their long-term commitment to serving the American market.
Position Summary
The Warehouse Manager will lead day-to-day warehouse operations, including inventory management, shipping and receiving, staff supervision, and safety compliance. This role serves as a critical link between logistics, sales, and administrative functions to ensure efficient and accurate warehouse performance.
Mission of the Role
To drive safe, efficient, and accurate management of all warehouse operations and inventory control processes. The Warehouse Manager will play a central role in ensuring order fulfillment, optimizing stock levels, and fostering a culture of productivity and accountability.
Key Responsibilities
Manage inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
Oversee loading, unloading, staging, and storage of materials for optimal safety and efficiency.
Optimize warehouse layout and workflow to support operational goals.
Enforce safety standards and maintain compliance with OSHA and other regulations.
Maintain accurate inventory records through cycle counts and regular physical inventories.
Resolve inventory discrepancies and monitor aging or slow-moving stock.
Coordinate with internal teams to align inventory levels with demand forecasts.
Ensure proper documentation for shipments, including BOLs, packing lists, and customs forms.
Supervise, train, and evaluate warehouse staff; assign duties and monitor performance.
Develop and refine Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to improve efficiency.
Schedule and track routine equipment maintenance and repairs.
Implement and monitor security and loss prevention measures.
Report on warehouse KPIs and recommend improvements based on trends and data analysis.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Industrial Engineering preferred.
5+ years of warehouse or inventory management experience.
Experience with steel or industrial materials is a strong plus.
Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred but not required.
OSHA and forklift certifications are a plus.
