Warehouse manager JLAnderson Sales Lockhart, FL 32810 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the warehouse, ensuring efficient processes and effective team supervision. This role requires a strong focus on continuous improvement, demand planning, and production planning to optimize warehouse performance and meet organizational goals. Duties Supervise warehouse staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations. Oversee shipping and receiving processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all transactions. Implement lean methodologies to improve workflow and reduce waste within the warehouse. Coordinate with third-party logistics (3PL) providers to manage inventory and distribution effectively. Manage budgeting for warehouse operations, ensuring cost-effective practices are in place. Develop and execute continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align demand planning with inventory management. Monitor performance metrics and prepare reports on warehouse activities for management review. Skills Strong supervisory skills with experience in leading teams in a warehouse environment. Knowledge of lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies. Familiarity with 3PL operations and logistics management. Proficient in budgeting and financial management related to warehouse operations. Experience in shipping, receiving, and inventory control processes. Understanding of NVOCC (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier) regulations and practices is a plus. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Strong communication skills for collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
