Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable, organized, and proactive Yard and Warehouse Manager to oversee daily operations at our company’s yard and warehouse. This individual will be responsible for managing inventory, equipment, and staff while ensuring smooth logistics, safe work practices, and top-tier customer service. The ideal candidate has a strong background in equipment handling, warehouse management, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Management:

o Oversee incoming and outgoing inventory; check equipment for damage, cleanliness, and proper function. o Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory logs. o Ensure all equipment is clean, serviced, and ready for dispatch.

Team Supervision:

o Manage and train yard and warehouse staff (loaders, drivers, laborers, etc.). o Schedule shifts, delegate tasks, and monitor performance. o Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and respect for tools and equipment.

Logistics & Coordination:

o Coordinate pick-ups, deliveries, and returns of equipment. o Work closely with sales, and service departments. o Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.

Maintenance Oversight:

o Ensure all equipment is serviced according to schedule or when returned. o Coordinate repairs with internal or external service teams. o Maintain a clean, organized yard and warehouse.

Customer Interaction:

o Occasionally interact with customers during pick-up/drop-off. o Ensure a professional, helpful, and courteous experience.

Qualifications:

• Experience in live production and familiarity with staging equipment.
• 3+ years of experience in a warehouse, yard, or logistics supervisory role (rental company experience a plus)
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Comfortable operating forklifts and other yard equipment (certification preferred)
• Basic mechanical knowledge of equipment/tools is a plus
• Proficient in basic computer systems and inventory software
• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in varying weather
• Available for off hours work when needed

Work Environment:

• This role requires physical labor, working outdoors, and being on your feet for long periods.
• Early mornings, occasional weekends, and overtime may be required, especially during peak seasons.
