Position Overview:

As the Warehouse Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and organized functioning of our warehouse operations. You will be responsible for managing inventory, optimizing space utilization, supervising a team of warehouse personnel, and maintaining a safe working environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse management, exceptional organizational skills, and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management:

Implement and maintain efficient inventory control procedures. Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and minimize discrepancies. Coordinate with the procurement team to optimize stock levels based on demand forecasts.

Warehouse Operations:

Oversee the day-to-day activities of the warehouse, including shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment. Develop and implement best practices for warehouse processes to enhance efficiency. Monitor and enforce compliance with safety standards and protocols.

Team Leadership:

Recruit, train, and supervise warehouse personnel. Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and accountability. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.

Space Optimization:

Plan and organize warehouse layout for maximum space utilization. Implement strategies to improve storage efficiency and minimize waste.

Quality Assurance:

Implement quality control measures to ensure that products meet or exceed industry standards. Collaborate with the quality assurance team to address any issues or discrepancies.

Communication and Collaboration:

Liaise with other departments, such as sales and customer service, to ensure seamless communication and collaboration. Participate in regular meetings to discuss warehouse performance, challenges, and improvement opportunities.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field. Proven experience in warehouse management, preferably in a similar industry. Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and warehouse software. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills. Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to improve efficiency. Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in warehouse environments. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decisions. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Working Conditions:

The role may require working irregular hours, including evenings and weekends. Some travel may be required.
