- 22 hourly Lakeland temp to hire.
The warehouse manager is responsible for the proper warehousing and inventory control of raw materials, finished goods, traded products, factory supplies and spare parts. Ensure the maximum utilization of warehouse facilities and warehouse associates. Coordinates with purchasing , design team and site supervisor to ensure proper receiving, transfer and dispatch of both retail and project materials.
Assists and supports the team in working towards the achievement of the departmental and company long and short term objectives
- Responsible for managing warehouse associates
- Responsible for intake of all inventory for both installation jobs and retail materials
- Responsible for getting quantities and details to Daisy to input into system and create labels
- Responsible for letting Brandon know when inventory is getting low / time to order
- Ensures effective utilization of warehouse areas and observes proper loading, unloading, stock and safekeeping of items to maintain the quality of products in order to prevent product damage and avoid occurrents of accidents and occupational hazards
- Effectively monitors the flow of goods
- Coordinates with the team with regards to incoming deliveries
- Maintains the highest standards of customer service by immediately attending and resolving customer issues prior to dispatch
- Ensures accuracy of product inventories against system records by conducting cycle counts on a periodic basis following appropriate guidelines
- Conducts regular cycle count as per established schedules and guidelines.
