Summary of Role We are seeking a Warehouse Inventory Manager to join our GDC team. This role is responsible for leading the team in the day to day integrity of our inventory movement and reporting. The ideal candidate will have a naturally curiosity and drive to troubleshoot and resolve issues and improve process and efficiency, with a “roll up your sleeves” type of work ethic. This position reports to the Director of Inventory Control. 1 st shift: 5am-1:30pm, Monday –
Friday Responsibilities:
Partner with other teams across facility and company to ensure inventory flow is accurate and timely. This role will heavily interact with all warehouse operations teams, as well as other departments across the company Prepare and report on daily metrics and goals, resolve problems and trouble shoot new challenges. Heavy use of technical tools such as RF devices, WMS, Excel etc. Excellent communication skills, which will be critical in problem solving and team collaboration Physical movement of product within the Distribution Center using RF equipment and MHE Direct, coach and mentor your team in cycle count, inventory audit preparation, product relocation and replenishment, and the reconciliation of issues between the WMS and the GL system (Netsuite) Participates in ongoing training to update job knowledge and updates SOPs Flexibility with changes in shift, workdays and duties. Cross trained to cover warehouse function where needed
Qualifications:
3+ years’ experience working directly with WMS software, inventory movement function, as well as successful track record in leading a team Process improvement mindset and the ability to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Strong analytical skills, with experience managing and interpreting data, and providing insights for operational improvements. Natural curiosity and desire to solve problems Excellent communication and collaboration skills, proven leadership skills Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). Must be able to work onsite full time
Physical Demands:
Frequent standing, stooping, reaching. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to ten pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to fifty pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than one hundred pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Forklift, Reach Truck, and Order Picker equipment certification a plus. Must have the ability to learn and become certified
Compensation:
$65-85k per year is the anticipated starting base pay for this role. This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this role. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: experience, education, and skills. Employees (and their families) are covered by medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance should they choose to participate in Serena & Lily’s benefits. Employees can enroll in our company’s 401k plan. During the first year of employment, full-time employees accrue fourteen days of PTO and seven paid holidays throughout the year.
