- Guidewire Technical Senior Manager
•. In this role, you will engage with insurance clients in a leadership role to drive enterprise transformation programs forward (P&C). You will be an integral part of the Advisory Strategy & Transformation technical team, leading the building of innovative and complete lifecycle solutions with multiple technologies, partners, and offerings in the marketplace. This includes orchestrating client and EPAM teams to ensure client success and contributing to EPAM’s growth. You will be an integral part of managing Guidewire projects and teams across implementations (both on-prem and cloud), upgrades, and production support. The role requires strong leadership, technical depth in Guidewire PolicyCenter (including Rating), and the ability to lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions for P&C insurance clients. You will also have a delivery leadership role as part of our Advisory-led transformation solution delivery programs. This will include leading large-scale complex programs involving multiple vendor software solutions, multiple EPAM practices, and external vendor delivery partners. Solutions will include packaged software and custom, engineered solutions. Your delivery leadership will be responsible for on-time/on-budget delivery that achieves client business outcomes. - Responsibilities
- + In this role, you will help our clients achieve their desired goals and business objectives by leading the technical side of our strategic engagements, bringing our GTM offerings and solutions to our clients with a value-to-impact approach + Lead business development and demand generation activities.
Build deep client relationships across a diverse network and use a flexible influencing style to gain buy-in and drive impact thereby generating new and pull through opportunities + Support sales and pre-sales activities by assessing opportunities, designing solutions, developing proposals, and establishing relationships with clients and prospective clients, and helping to close new deals + You will understand/communicate complex operational insurance issues and establish relationships with client stakeholders + You will oversee the on-time/on-budget achievement and quality of solution implementation and work with key client stakeholders and internal resources to address issues as they arise. You will lead technology transformation delivery teams as part of the overall Advisory Strategy & Transformation delivery leadership + You will monitor delivery progress, manage risk, and ensure key stakeholders are kept informed about engagement progress and expected outcomes + You will demonstrate in-depth domain knowledge, technical capabilities, and ability to assimilate new knowledge and possess strong business acumen + You will lead and contribute to development of innovative methods and tools that increase the impact of our service offerings + You will lead development of assets and accelerators which will enable EPAM in speedier and nimble engagement delivery + You will create opportunities to drive impact; anticipate client needs and deliver superior results by leveraging each person’s strengths to build high performing teams + You will mentor, coach and develop both your project teams and your Advisory practice teams + You will remain current on new developments in advisory services capabilities, industry knowledge, and technology software capabilities
- Requirements
- + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related disciplines, master’s or further education appreciated + Insurance industry (P&C) experience + 15+ years of consulting experience working on a cross-section of Guidewire solution architecture, solution delivery projects, and transformation program management with diverse teams and roles.
A blend of consulting and industry experience is a plus + Hands-on experience with Gosu, Java, and Guidewire configuration and integration + Guidewire Certification(s) (e.g., PolicyCenter Developer, Integration Specialist) + Staying updated on Guidewire product roadmap, cloud migration trends, and innovation opportunities + Experience across the following technical competencies is expected: Technical delivery and agile transformation, IT Transformation/complex program management, solution architecture, business and IT alignment, IT cost optimization and budget/resource management, IT service/delivery management (including shared services), IT legacy systems conversion, IT legacy systems integration, and IT systems configuration and integration + Experience in managing the technical direction of a project from initiation and requirements through design, build, testing, and implementation using frameworks such as Agile and Waterfall + Experience managing onsite-offshore delivery models and geographically dispersed teams + Strong oral and written communication skills, including executive presentation skills + Experience assessing and improving business processes, systems, and associated technologies + Ability to lead and mentor junior resources + Experience supporting business development activities (e.g., pursuits, proposals, presentations) + Proven record of building effective teams, recruiting, and retention is critical + Program/Project/Workstream management experience in an on-shore/off-shore model, collaborating with clients and third-party vendors + Experience with a range of surrounding technology components, including document management, document generation, rules engines, portals, data lake/warehouse, business intelligence, data & analytics tools, and general ledger + Experience with emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, chatbots, RPA, machine learning, digital ingestion, predictive modeling, and quantum computing + Strong knowledge of insurance data across the value chain is a plus + Integration experience with APIs and microservices architectures + Experience in roles such as IT Solution Architect, Technical Lead and/or Developer, Program Manager, and Scrum Master + Acting as a key technical point of contact for business and IT stakeholders; effectively communicating risks, dependencies, and project status + High EQ and self-awareness

Salary range:
