CPS Manager Job Responsibilities:

TheCPS Manager is responsible for engaging with internal clients toadvise and shape projects to meet their needs by properly definingthe stakeholder’s project objectives and mapping requirementsappropriately. The CPS Manager will work to create properly alignedbusiness cases for project concepts and gain stakeholder approvalto submit for Leadership approval to begin project work. The CPSManager will map baselined requirements to their respective projectobjectives, gain stakeholder agreement and align tasks into amanageable work breakdown structure and lead a team to deliverthose projects so that they meet and/or exceed customerexpectations. The CPS Manager will create relevant project eventsand ceremonies, including but not limited to ProjectKickoff/Closeout decks, User Stories and Backlogs, Agile SCRUMceremonies (sprint planning, review, standups and retrospectives),etc. The CPS Manager role is responsible for supporting thecreation, maintenance, and grooming of User Stories with AcceptanceCriteria. The CPS Manager role is responsible for the end-to-enddelivery of projects. The PM will work with teams that aregeographically dispersed and comprised of all disciplines requiredto deliver IT solutions for our customers, including architects,business analysts, data engineers, application engineers, qualityassurance & testers. Successfully executing projects to agreedtime, scope, budget and quality including developing objectives andplans to deliver on the business case benefits, budget andtimescales. Performing the project management processes – i.e.initiate, plan, execute, monitor and control and close, and thesupporting processes e.g. scope, cost, time, issue, risk, resource,communication, stakeholder management ensuring that the requiredartifacts (e.g. project charter) are delivered and approvedappropriately based upon Capstone Logistics’ IT project managementmethodology. Planning for, monitoring and managing change throughformal change management processes and stakeholder/customerrelationship management including reporting on variances to theapproved project baseline and managing the approval or mitigationof these as appropriate. Managing project work and resources toenable successful and timely completion of the project includingperforming gate reviews and quality assurance reviews with allaspects of IT organization and business sponsors. Closing theproject and formalizing acceptance of the project results ensuringthat the benefits realization have been achieved or a formal planis in place to manage these. Communicating with project teams,management, customers and stakeholders including implementing andworking through defined governance processes. Coaching andmentoring both customers, vendors and project team members indelivery fundamentals and the benefits to successful requirementsgathering and delivery. Provide accurate and consistent weeklystatus reporting for key IT initiatives, deliverables, risk, andissues. Monitor and manage project baseline to ensure activitiesare occurring as planned – scope, budget and schedule and managingvariances. Proactively identify risks and issues on projects -leading team to develop risk management and issue management plans.

Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills in leadingthe project team to issue resolution. Essential Functions /

JobRequirements:

Quickly understands the business issues andchallenges of client’s organization and industry. Identifies clientorganization’s strengths and weaknesses and suggests areas ofimprovement. Reviews and edits requirements, specifications,business processes and recommendations related to proposedsolution. Develops functional specifications and system designspecifications for client engagements. Confirms requirements aremet as per baseline prior to project closure. Knowledge ofimplementing Agile methodologies required. Expert with industrystandard Business Analysis tools, standards and techniques. Abilityto be flexible in your overall commitment to speed-to-market whilealigning yourself with effective project delivery. Ability tocollect detail in support of ROI, calculate the ROI and enumeratesupport statements for the ROI as it relates to business and ITApplication Delivery. Establish respective budget numbers as itrelates to all areas of costs under the Business Case, includingbut not limited to direct revenue impacts, operational and costavoidance numbers versus project execution costs. Work effectivelywith stakeholders to determine project objectives, map properrequirements to the objectives. Gather appropriate project successfactors and document them. Conduct stakeholder analysis anddocument them in the appropriate deliverables and align them to theproject’s communication plan. Perform additional duties andfunctions as required. Thorough working knowledge of the Agilemethodology, IT systems and their direct implementation toprojects. Strong project management skills. Strong business andsystems analysis skills, test planning and testing skills,troubleshooting skills and experience with numerous environmentsand architectures. Experience in data gathering and facilitationtechniques (i.e. meetings and JAD sessions). Experience withrequirements management, use case and modeling tools. Experiencewith applying and general knowledge of various analysis andgathering approaches, methodologies and models. Demonstratedleadership and attention to detail skills through prior experienceat the tactical/implementation levels. Ability to coach, mentor andtrain personnel within a technical organization. Strong analyticaland planning skills/experience with software development projects.

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, SoftwareEngineering, General Information Technology or a related field ORAt least 1 year of relevant experience in project management withsoftware development projects, OR Relevant combination of educationand experience. Proven ability to communicate effectively (written& oral) and deliver consistently strong, measurable results. StrongPMartsheet or MS Project skills, as well as proficiency with the MSOffice suite. Familiar with managing content on

MicrosoftSharePoint and Teams Preferred:

CPM or PPM certification andtraining in negotiation/facilitation skills.

Preferred:

3-5 yearsof demonstrated experience in logistics industry or similar.
