The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient warehouse operations, including the management of inventory, order fulfillment, and materials handling. This position requires a proactive approach to maintaining a safe and organized work environment while supporting overall operational goals. Responsibilities Operate warehouse equipment and machinery safely and efficiently. Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate stock counts. Assist in order fulfillment processes, including picking, packing, and shipping products. Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse layout and systems for improved efficiency. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse space. Monitor materials management to minimize waste and enhance productivity. Support fleet management operations as needed, ensuring timely transportation of goods. Manage Vendor Relationships Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on best practices in operations management. Manage 1-2 warehouse associates Skills Strong understanding of profit loss principles related to warehouse operations. Experience with materials management techniques to optimize inventory flow. Familiarity with logistics. Knowledge of purchasing (buy) practices within a warehouse context. Experience working with third-party logistics (3PL) providers is advantageous. Proficiency in using shipstation, shopify and other warehouse related software Ability to manage transportation logistics effectively as part of order fulfillment strategies. Solid grasp of operations management principles to enhance overall efficiency within the warehouse environment.
