Job Description:

Shop/Yard Manager The Shop/Yard Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of yard and shop operations, including parts ordering, inventory control, equipment maintenance coordination, and overall site organization. This role ensures efficient workflow and supports field operations by maintaining a well-stocked and well-functioning yard environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Order, receive, and track parts and supplies for equipment and shop needs. Operate forklifts to safely move materials and equipment around the yard. Schedule and monitor equipment maintenance and minor repairs. Maintain organized records using Microsoft Excel and Word; manage vendor websites for pricing and availability. Ensure the yard is clean, safe, and running efficiently. Communicate effectively with mechanics, drivers, vendors, and field crews.

Skills & Qualifications:

Proficient with computers, including Excel, Word, and internet-based ordering systems. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Forklift operation experience (certification preferred). Heavy Equipment Mechanical knowledge and experience in parts handling or maintenance support.

Job Type:

Full-time Pay:

$65,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
