Job Description
High Lawn Farm is seeking an experienced individual to supervise ourdistribution fleet, and team and oversee our delivery route logistics. Astrong candidate will exhibit professional communication skills, displaythe ability to optimize efficiencies and lead by example.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO
- Supervise truckdrivers and coordinate fleet services
- Analyze and oversee deliveryroute logistics and onboarding of new customers
- Ensure quality controland safe food handling during distribution
- Collaborate with themanagement team to identify methods to improve efficiency
- Understanding of current state and federal transportation regulations
- Maintain and enhance SOPs, route sequences, maintenance logs, andgeneral records
- Organize and conduct employee training, andperformance evaluations
- Coordinate distribution schedules and employeetime off
REQUIREMENTS
This position requires an understanding of dieselmechanics and maintenance, and a willingness to drive and deliver whennecessary to provide support for the HLF Driver team (Requires earlymornings and overnights). Applicants must have management and logisticsexperience, a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and theability to lift at least 45 lbs. Applicants must be able to pass a DOTphysical, and background check. Preference will be given to candidateswith distribution or fleet management and experience with vehicletelematics.
