Job Description

Inventory/Fulfillment Manager Bostica, LLC 71 Linden Street, Lynn, MA 01905 SUMMARY Bostica is a newly licensed cannabis cultivation facility in Lynn, MA. We are locally, family owned and comprised of a strong leadership team with a passion for the plant and our people. Monitors and maintains records of cannabis throughout the entire cultivation process and post-harvest supply chain. Reconciles discrepancies in inventory and notifies supervisor or irregularities. Ensures that data is properly entered and maintained in inventory control software and ERP systems to comply with all Local and State regulations. Enters and audits data into inventory control software and ERP systems to ensure compliance with company procedures. Responsible for leading, overseeing and managing a team who performs daily, weekly, and monthly inventory processes. Responsible to certify the accuracy and integrity of the physical inventory and communicate inventory results to managers and executives. This position is responsible for the administration and auditing of compliance for the company, reviewing and evaluating compliance issues within the organization’s operating facilities. Ensures and maintains compliance with all rules and regulations and the company’s employees are following the rules and regulations of all local and state regulatory agencies. The candidate works to ensure that employees are following company policies and procedures, and that behavior in the organization meets the company standards of conduct and disposition. Must lead, develop and maintain protocols for the Company’s compliance Program. Participate in the ongoing strategic planning and vision for the company and its cultivation entities. Understand, embrace and embody the mission of the organization. Organizes and manages inventory for wholesale distribution and sales order fulfillment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES

(This list is not intended to be all inclusive) Exercise significant authority and discretion when addressing items that concern inventory control and compliance METRC expert Experience with cannabis inventory software and reconciliation of inventory Participate in developing and implementing design, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures to advance the company’s mission, vision, goals, and objectives Monitors and maintains inventory ensuring data is entered and accurate inventory control software and ERP systems Plans and executes efficient and accurate daily, weekly and monthly physical counts of inventory; Performs thorough analysis of results and presents to management Traces item history to determine reasons for discrepancies between inventory and stock control records and recommends actions to resolve Writes reports, business correspondences, and standard operating procedures; Keeps accurate records and logs Maintains a neat, clean, organized and safe receiving room per local and state regulations and company policies Assesses and improves receiving, processing and stocking processes Trains and develops associates on proper receiving, processing and stocking procedures Disposes of waste products in accordance with all local, state and company regulations Communicates all situations and/or conditions impacting store inventory to the GM & Executives Maintains accurate and up to date knowledge of all local and state compliance regulations Performs additional projects as assigned Investigates and resolves discrepancies and notifies supervisor of irregularities. Performs routine clerical, including but not limited to data entry and assisting other departments. Prepares shipments containing regulated and non-regulated goods for distribution while ensuring compliance with all local and state regulations Develop standard operating procedures and training materials for all inventory activities in compliance with current and future local, and state regulations, in conjunction with applicable contracted experts if available In conjunction with the Cultivation Manager, manage and coordinate the location’s cultivation operations, including: daily activities, equipment acquisition, maintenance, training, schedules, personnel, quality assurance and regulatory compliance In conjunction with Processing Manager assure that all local and state regulations are adhered to and documented as required Provide support to managers in developing staffing requirements, positional training, implementation of standard operating procedures Manage, supervise and direct the activities of assigned staff and functions for the site location, including: Assign work and monitor progress Guide, train and develop employees in the accomplishment of their duties and goals Follow and integrate company policies and procedures into all on-the-job interactions, tasks and behaviors

(This list is not intended to be all inclusive) Ensure departmental equipment is functioning, maintained and in good working order Attend required meetings and participate in team and professional development activities Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this position. Knowledge of supplies, equipment, and inventory control. Ability to reconcile stock counts to report data Database management skills Ensures all employees are operating safely and following all company health and safety standards (ex. cord management, tripping hazards, ladder safety, lifting and bending safety, etc.) Ability to analyze and solve problems Ability to prepare routine administrative paperwork Ability to receive, stock, ship and deliver goods Clerical, word processing, and/or office skills Utilize effective communication skills and demonstrate a sense of urgency Exhibits empathetic behavior towards others Listen and respond to requests appropriately and timely Ensure the department’s area remains neat, clean and organized Maintains discretionary practices; tactful with sensitive and confidential business information Follow and integrate company policies and procedures into all on-the-job interactions, tasks and behaviors Provide timely and appropriate feedback to Supervisor Provide excellent service and exceptional interactions with visitors, vendors and staff Perform other duties as assigned

WORK CONTEXT

Physical Requirements Requires prolonged walking and standing and some bending, reaching, stooping and stretching Grasping, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions Ability to lift, carry and balance up to 50 pounds (125 pounds with assistance) Ability to proficiently operate a computer and other office equipment Working Conditions Work is generally performed in climate-controlled processing/storage area and indoor cultivation environments. May require working within in a walk-in cooler/refrigerator Work is subject to weather conditions, including rain and hot or cold temperatures Involves frequent contact with varied levels of personnel, including vendors, visitors and staff Will require working rotating shifts with varied hours/day, including evenings weekends, holidays, and special events May eventually include working an alternative workweek

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics or management or similar business-related experience preferred 2 years plus experience in inventory control/management and supply chain logistics Deep experience managing inventory using a software-based system Ability to implement processes resulting in exemplary audit practices Experience working in cannabis, floral, manufacturing, nutraceutical, or pharmaceutical industry highly desirable GAP and/or GMP certified or experience a plus Experience managing a health and safety compliance program Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered, including internal experience. At least a minimum of 21 years old and pass a criminal background check
