Planning & Fulfillment Manager 1.0 1.0 out of 5 stars Auburn, ME 04210 Planning & Fulfillment Manager The Planning & Fulfillment Manager leads all aspects of the MS Ambrogio North America supply chain, from planning and forecasting to order fulfillment and delivery. This position drives planning initiatives to improve customer on time delivery, raw material level, inventory turns, and supply plan adherence and necessary resources.
Responsibilities:
Forecasting future customer demand based on historical data, sales trends, and other relevant factors. Optimizing inventory levels to ensure adequate stock while minimizing carrying costs and avoiding stockouts. Collaborating with various departments (sales, procurement & operations) to align supply and demand plans. Provide facility leadership for the execution of production plan. Lead team to develop production plans for over 2000 items over multiple work centers. Overseeing the processes of order processing, packing, shipping, and tracking. Managing warehouse operations, including storage, inventory control, and shipping. Drive quantitative improvements in service, material flow, inventory, accuracy, and reduction. Implement and drive Lean-manufacturing principles throughout materials organization. Act as facilitator, mentor coach and owner in the training and use of the manufacturing systems – SAP. Drive supplier relationships to ensure customer service targets. Ability to lead and motivate teams, developing and implementing strategies, and ensuring that goals are met.
Qualifications:
BS Degree (Electrical or Mechanical Engineering preferred). Minimum 5 years’ experience in production planning / material management. Demonstrated manufacturing leadership and shop operations. Strong SAP experience preferred. Knowledge of Materials/Operations computer systems. Solid analytical, communication, and project leadership skills. Ability to influence and gain commitment from others. Quick study with ability to juggle multiple priorities.
