DEVELOPMENT
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Participate in recruitment, development, training, and retention of warehouse team.
- Direct the day-to-day flow and activities of the warehouse including receiving of inbound inventory, staging of outbound inventory for the delivery routes, accurate accounting of stored inventory, coordination of manufacturer returns, recycling of packing materials and disposal of haul-away’s.
- Maintain a clean and organized work and warehouse environment that meets safety standards.
- Ensure inventory is stored properly to conserve space and comply with safety procedures.
- Process customer returns and keep an accurate accounting.
- Monitor warehouse performance, review cost effectiveness, and ensure company standards of excellence are met.
- Coordinate with other Team Leads to facilitate efficient operations across all departments.
- Provide required reporting to the Operations Manager in an accurate and timely manner.
- Develop and submit to Operations Manager a detailed weekly plan of staff assignments and other required resources to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
- Supervise warehouse team and monitor their production and work habits, serving as a coach and mentor to meet their peak performance.
- Train and enforce quality control standards that align with company safety programs as well as safety rules and compliance with all government regulations including OSHA requirements and
COVID-19 PPE
usage.
- Support Operations Manager in relaying and determining corrective action on any customer complaints to ensure correct installations and maintain warranty claims.
- Coordinate preventative maintenance for forklifts and other equipment.
- Regularly evaluate warehouse team’s usage of forklifts and equipment to ensure proper protocols are observed and recommend corrective action as needed.
- Secure estimates for any equipment repair and submit to Operations Manager for approval.

Essential Qualifications & Skills:
Must be Fluent in Spanish
- Must have a valid driver’s license and driving record in good standing.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Forklift certificate or willing to get certification.
- Minimum of two years’ experience supervising of warehouse operations.
- Flexibility with shifting priorities
- willing to work any schedule, including weekends and holidays.
