Warehouse Receiving Lead Gardner Inc. Olive Branch, MS 38654 Job Description As a Warehouse Lead, you will ensure the smooth operations and efficient functioning of the warehouse. You will be responsible for leading a team of warehouse staff, overseeing their day-to-day activities, and ensuring that all tasks are completed accurately and in a timely manner. Your exceptional leadership skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple tasks will contribute to the overall success of the warehouse. Job Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff, including picking, packing, shipping, and receiving. Plan and prioritize work assignments for the team to ensure optimal workflow and productivity. Train and develop team members on proper warehouse procedures, safety protocols, and company policies. Monitor and enforce compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain quality control and accuracy of inventory. Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and timely order fulfilment. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment. Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise within the team and address performance concerns through coaching and mentoring. Required Skills Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and guide a team towards achieving goals. Excellent organizational and time management skills to effectively prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in inventory management and data entry. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively communicate with team members and other departments. Proficient in using warehouse management systems and software. Problem-solving skills to identify and address issues in warehouse operations and implement efficient solutions. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and demands. Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, including receiving, order fulfilment, and inventory control. Ability to work well under pressure and handle stressful situations with composure. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a warehouse environment. Proficiency in using warehouse management systems and software. Familiarity with health and safety regulations and ability to enforce safety protocols. Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make quick decisions. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks as required during warehouse operations. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members and other departments.
