Job Description
Warehouse Manager 3.0 3.0 out of 5 stars Concord, NC 28027 To coordinate and manage all warehousing functions relating to product movement into and out of Westrock Coffee’s warehouses.
Job Duties:
Oversee Westrock’s Main, Ramdin, Commercial Park warehousing, shipping and receiving functions. Develop and manage programs to ensure the effective operation and utilization of all models of warehousing. Safeguard warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring SQF/Security guidelines and protocols. Control inventory movement to ensure actual matches perpetual. Achieve financial objectives by preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions. Manage 3 shift operations, supervisors, and 75+ hourly employees. Maintain warehouse staff job results by coaching, counseling, and monitoring key performance indicators. Develop and implement cost reduction plans, process improvement, and Lean initiatives. Maintain a productive warehousing staff by creating programs for training, evaluating and professional development. Serve as warehouse liaison on committees such as Quality Council, Corporate Safety Committee, etc. Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Qualifications:
BA/BS preferred. Associate’s degree, or eight to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience required. 5+ years warehouse management experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred. Management experience with emphasis on staffing, organizing, motivating, developing supervising and communicating. Strong written and oral communication skills. Strong analytical skills to interpret analyses in support of decisions. Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office, Windows, email and Internet. Ability to interact with individuals from diverse levels within a corporation and to provide excellent customer service.
