In-Kind Coordinator

High Point, NC 27260 Open Door Ministries is looking for a organized, responsible driver and coordinator to help with all donations made to our non-profit. The In-kind Coordinator is responsible for in-kind gifts, developing and stewarding relationships, tracking and recording gifts, coordinating in-kind drives, and distribution of items to the kitchen, pantry, shelter, Arthur Cassell Transitional House (ACTH), and other partner organizations.

Duties/ Responsibilities:

Coordinate with operations, programs, and marketing departments to provide support on respective in-kind donations, outreach and tracking.

Develop and manage in-kind reports:

provide monthly reports to executive team. Coordinate with kitchen, pantry, shelter, and ACTH to distribute donations to their respective departments. Plans and completes an efficient delivery and pick up route for the day. Loads delivery vehicle with parcels scheduled for delivery. Assists in general kitchen and pantry duties when delivery route in completed. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required skills/ abilities:

Basic database management and proficiency in Microsoft word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Proactive, team oriented, highly organized, and detail oriented. Ability to drive safely. Ability to maintain basic logs and records. Ability to carry out a series of instructions without constant supervision.

Job Type:

Part-time Pay:

$14.00 – $16.00 per hour Expected hours: 30 – 35 per week
