Transmission & Distribution Account Manager- Utility Account 3.9 3.9 out of 5 stars Charlotte, NC 28273 A Snapshot of Your Day Based in Charlotte, NC with a focus on a singular key utility account, you’ll own the relationship between the client and our transmission and distribution (T&D) businesses across multiple regions! On an average day, you’ll meet with various customer personas, drive internal action to win orders and implement projects, and act as the conduit for solving customer problems by leveraging the T&D capabilities of Siemens Energy. You’ll serve as the subject matter expert on the customer, driving the account strategy, forecasting and helping our businesses best serve the market. How You’ll Make an Impact Build and maintain relationships across all levels and areas of Duke Energy, encouraging connections between relevant internal and external collaborators. Establish yourself as the face of Siemens Energy to the utility when it comes to T&D by doing more than just answering proposal requests: establish Siemens Energy as a technical expert, influence customer decisions and specifications, react quickly to issues or events, and take the time to truly understand the utility strategy, players and buying habits. Drive business development across our Transmission and Distribution Equipment and Services portfolio and coordinate internal customer focused teams to align towards common goals, ensuring actions benefit both Siemens Energy and the customer. Act as the customer expert and advocate when interacting with internal teams, especially in creating winning strategies and overcoming implementation challenges. Keep leadership and internal stakeholders advised of any issues, success stories, or significant customer developments, including input to help align current and future portfolio offerings with market demands. Prepare account presentations and briefing documents and forecast order intake and assist with financial reporting. What You Bring Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of sales experience. Candidates with more experience may be considered for a higher level. Industry experience or Siemens business unit experience is a plus. Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences. Experience leading a team and sharing important information. Knowledge of financial targets and Salesforce.com and adaptable to changing requirements and priorities.
