Job Overview The Warehouse Process Manager is responsible for engaging on-site with local leaders in warehouses and production centers to execute and drive warehouse process transformation and ongoing process improvements using subject matter expertise of current operations execution. The Warehouse Process Manager is also responsible for assisting in efforts to examine, analyze, and understand current business practices and processes to identify, design, and implement business process improvement; supporting the effort to explore, define, and implement new business practices and processes within all areas related to field operations and customer service as needed. This individual may serve as a project manager and lead for new initiatives. This role will be required to teach, coach, train and develop all levels of the warehouse team. Duties & Responsibilities Serves as liaison and subject matter expert with other departments (PSP, Distribution, RCT) to represent warehousing in strategic initiatives Executes and drives business transformation initiatives and ongoing process improvements in warehouse and customer processes Serves as interim Warehouse Manager, leading and managing operations in times of need, which may include several weeks, to months of on-site support at a time Provides change management assistance to ensure we achieve and sustain our targeted performance levels Serves as a Subject Matter Expert and resource for warehouse support in several areas, including, but not limited to, budget, P and L management, inventory control, food safety, warehouse layouts, WMS (including scanning, etc.) Provides ongoing support and testing of WMS May perform other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Ability to work in a fast-paced atmosphere while walking and repetitively lifting 30 lbs. Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. Ability to collaborate within a team environment Ability to coordinate and organize efficient and dependable warehouse processes Ability to adapt to needs of role in different work areas throughout the workday and meet minimum expectations of those different work areas Ability to read and interpret instructions from a computer screen Attention to detail and ability to differentiate our packages Ability to work in a noisy and non-climate controlled (hot in summer, cold in winter) environment Intentional self-starter who takes initiative and proactively seeks out value-add opportunities Flexibility (Schedules, hours change with the demands of the business) Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree (4 years in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering preferred), however, equivalent or relevant experience is also acceptable Knowledge acquired through 3 to up to 5 years of work experience
Preferred:
