Salary:

Manage the receiving, warehousing,and distribution operations by implementing, monitoring, andenforcing program, operational, and personnel policies andprocedures. Safeguard warehouse operations and contents byestablishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.

Control inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconcilingwith data storage system. Maintain the physical condition of thewarehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts;inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair andrequisitions for replacement. Achieve financial objectives bypreparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzingvariances; initiating corrective actions. Complete warehouseoperational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees;following up on work results. Maintain warehouse staff byrecruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees. Maintainwarehouse staff job results by coaching, counseling, anddisciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising jobresults. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attendingeducational workshops; reviewing professional publications;establishing personal networks; participating in professionalsocieties. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing relatedresults as needed.

Qualifications:

Proven work experience as aWarehouse Manager. Expertise in warehouse management procedures andbest practices. Proven ability to implement process improvementinitiatives. Strong knowledge of warehousing Key PerformanceIndicators (KPIs) Hands-on experience with warehouse managementsoftware and databases. Leadership skills and ability to managestaff. Strong decision making and problem-solving skills. Excellentcommunication skills. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similarrole. Proven experience in supply chain management and receiving.

Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’sinventory, warehousing, and other supply chain systems. Excellentverbal and written communication skills. Ability to interpret andunderstand policies and procedures and relate them to others.
