Fleet & Yard Manager Are you a highly organized and hands-on individual with a knack for vehicle maintenance and logistics? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy leading a team? We’re looking for a dedicated Fleet & Yard Manager to join our growing Company! In this vital role, you’ll be responsible for the efficient operation and maintenance of our vehicle fleet and yard. You’ll ensure our vehicles are in top condition and our operations run smoothly, all while contributing to a supportive and Team-oriented work environment.
Responsibilities:
Oversee daily fleet operations, including vehicle Tracking, and scheduling and performing maintenance. Perform and supervise basic vehicle maintenance and repairs, such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and battery/alternator replacements. Manage vehicle maintenance records and ensure compliance with all safety regulations. Utilize Excel and fleet tracking software to monitor vehicle performance, fuel consumption, and maintenance schedules. Maintain an organized and efficient yard, ensuring vehicles and equipment are properly stored and accessible. Coordinate with external vendors for more complex repairs and parts procurement. Adapt quickly to changing priorities and operational needs, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent. Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record. Proven basic mechanical skills, including the ability to perform routine vehicle maintenance and minor repairs. Fluency in Microsoft Excel and experience with fleet tracking software. Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Must pass a pre-employment drug test screening . Availability to travel as needed. Fluent in trailer skills, and operations of a trailer. Why Join Our Family?
