Position Information:

Oversee and lead a team of drivers and helpers in their daily duties of delivering our products, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining communication between departments regarding pertinent information related to the team. Primary Contribution to

Lead, motivate, coach and train delivery staff on the team – fostering a positive, efficient and productive working environment Manage all employees on the team to include hours, time off, personnel issues, discipline, and evaluations Administer routes, ensuring that all routes have adequate coverage for all deliveries, daily Instill and promote a culture of safety that will keep the team and others safe from accident and injury

Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintain appropriate staffing levels and engage in the hiring process to include reviewing candidates’ applications, conducting interviews with qualified candidates, and selecting the most qualified candidates for hire Evaluate employee performance and engage in the development of the skills of team members Prepare for and participate in monthly delivery department meetings, discussing relative topics Understand, adhere to, and enforce all FMCSA regulations, OSHA regulations, safety regulations, and Company Polices Follow-up on any accidents, worker’s comp claims or other personnel related issues Responsible for administrative tasks to include timecards, payroll, maintaining accurate records for administration of the Pay-for-Performance Program, attendance tracking, discipline, and coordinating recertification for CDL licenses Investigate any customer complaints to maintain our customer service-oriented mission Communicate effectively with all employees on the team, department and all levels of management Work cohesively and collaboratively with other departments to help ensure seamless operations throughout the Company and resolve any interdepartmental issues concerning customers or employees Provide support in the trade to delivery routes and able to cover delivery routes as needed Other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent required College degree preferred 1-3 years of management experience required, preferably in a delivery, warehouse or other similar setting CDL-A or CDL-B License with airbrake endorsement and DOT medial card Driving record that meets the Company’s standards per the Fleet Policy and acceptable FMCSA Query Strong work ethic with a high degree of credibility Strong communication (both verbal and written), interpersonal, leadership and organizational skills Proficient computer skills with the ability to use excel and operate an iPad or other mobile device Certified and able to operate power industrial equipment including an electric pallet jack and forklift, and able to use a two-wheeler Able to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly and up to 165 lbs. occasionally Able to reach, stand, sit, kneel, bend, push, pull, and climb repeatedly or for long periods of time

Working Conditions:

Warehouse and retail environment Driving in all road and weather conditions, wearing a seatbelt while operating or riding in a vehicle for business purposes Must wear Company provided uniform and safety toe shoes at all times while working
