The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily activities, ensuring efficient logistics, and maintaining a safe and organized environment. This role requires strong leadership skills, mechanical knowledge, and a commitment to process improvement within the warehouse setting. Duties Supervise and coordinate all warehouse activities, including shipping, receiving, and inventory management. Implement and maintain effective warehouse management systems to optimize operations. Lead a team of warehouse staff, providing training and support to ensure high performance and adherence to safety standards. Oversee logistics operations to ensure timely delivery of goods while minimizing costs. Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to ensure compliance with safety regulations. Manage inventory levels, conducting regular audits to maintain accuracy in stock counts. Collaborate with e-commerce teams to streamline order fulfillment processes. Identify areas for process improvement and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency. Handle heavy lifting as required, ensuring proper techniques are used for safety. Requirements Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar role. Strong knowledge of logistics processes and warehouse operations. Familiarity with AS400 or other warehouse management systems is preferred. Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead staff effectively. Mechanical knowledge is a plus for troubleshooting equipment issues. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as needed in the warehouse environment. Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement initiatives.
