Successfulcandidates will handle the daily management of a warehouse crew.

DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES

Running warehouse with safety andefficiency as priorities Writing and balancing daily bank depositsCreation of daily work logs and transmission of same to corporateAudit of daily labor and billing reports Ensure customer needs aremet daily. Document and resolve any customer service or associateissues daily. Ensure all associates follow policies and work rulesincluding safety work rules. Hold weekly safety meetings and ensureassociate participation. Assist in managing warehouse anddepartmental budget. Scheduling associate shifts based on warehouserequirements. Negotiation of rates with common carrierrepresentatives Interview, hire, and train new associates.

Supervise timely and accurate data entry for all servicesperformed. Complete daily closeout, including cash balancing, dataupload, and payroll record administration according to policies andstandard operating procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS

Must be veryflexible with shift start times as well as days worked, includingweekends and holidays. 3 years of management and leadershipexperience in an industrial setting. Ability to train, coach, andmentor warehouse associates. Strong organization and prioritizingskills. Ability to simultaneously perform multiple tasks. Theability to make decisions, problem solve, prioritize assignmentsand direct the workforce in an ever-changing, warehouseenvironment. Ability to manage budgets; read and interpret P&Lstatements; and prepare related management reports. Intermediate PCskills with knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPointExcellent aptitude in estimating rates and adding and subtractingmentally while constantly multi-tasking.

EXPERIENCE

BS/BA Degree orAssociates Degree with Equivalent Experience is a plus but notrequired Excellent interpersonal communication, leadership, andcustomer service skills. Proven track record in supervision ofwarehouse employees including Hiring, Training, and Termination.

Proven experience in providing high levels of customer service tointernal and external customers. College degree is a plus.
