Major Food Distrubution Center Position Overview:
We are currently recruiting a results-driven Warehouse Manager to lead operations for a dynamic and fast-paced warehouse facility. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in high-volume environments and is committed to safety, efficiency, and team performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory control
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of 100 warehouse associates and supervisors
- Ensure workplace safety, cleanliness, and compliance with OSHA regulations
- Monitor KPIs such as on-time shipping, inventory accuracy, and labor efficiency
- Oversee inbound/outbound logistics and coordinate with transportation partners
- Drive continuous improvement and implement lean warehousing practices
- Manage cycle counts and assist in resolving inventory discrepancies
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of warehouse management or supervisory experience
- Strong leadership and team-building skills
- Proficiency in WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with forklift operations, pallet jacks, and general warehouse equipment
- Ability to multitask in a deadline-driven, fast-moving environment
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree a plus
