Warehouse/Inventory/Shipping Manager 2.4 2.4 out of 5 stars 1903 Mayview Road, Bridgeville, PA 15017 We are seeking a hands-on and solutions-oriented Warehouse/Inventory/Shipping Manager to lead our warehouse operations with accuracy, efficiency, and integrity in our Bridgeville, PA location. This role is responsible for overseeing inventory control, shipping/receiving processes, staff management, and warehouse compliance—all while supporting our mission of timely and compassionate care. As a key leader in the Purchasing Department, this position plays a vital role in ensuring the right equipment reaches the right patient at the right time—safely, securely, and with care. Inventory Management Use TIMS to monitor, track, and adjust inventory levels in real time. Ensure accuracy between physical inventory and system records through cycle counts and full physical inventories. Work closely with Purchasing and Med/surg teams to ensure sufficient stock of high-usage and high-priority items. Implement
FIFO/FEFO
methods for effective inventory rotation, expiration control, and reduction of waste. Work with vendors to proactively manage backorders, returns, and product recalls. Warehouse Operations Oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, including receiving, staging, packing, deliveries, and returns. Maintain a clean, organized, and accredited warehouse environment that complies with infection control policies and DME standards. Ensure DME equipment and medical supplies are stored, labeled, and maintained according to manufacturer and compliance guidelines (ACHC, The Joint Commission, etc.). Shipping & Logistics Coordinate and oversee daily shipments and deliveries, including technician routes, freight shipments, and courier services. Ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders. Maintain proper shipping documentation and comply with DOT, HIPAA, and internal protocols for handling medical items. Work cross-functionally with the Rehab, Service, and Customer Service teams to meet patient timelines and expectations. Leadership & Team Development Recruit, train, and supervise warehouse and delivery staff. Develop and maintain SOPs, staff schedules, and safety protocols. Provide regular feedback, performance reviews, and support professional development for warehouse personnel. Compliance & Reporting Ensure operational compliance with DME accreditation standards and all applicable federal/state regulations. Maintain accurate logs for inspections, safety audits, and maintenance schedules. Provide regular reports and KPI dashboards to leadership, including inventory turnover, fulfillment rates, and shipping timelines. Work Environment & Physical Requirements This position is primarily warehouse-based with occasional office and site visit responsibilities. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods. May require occasional travel to branch or satellite locations. Must be authorized to work within the United States. Equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities .
Required:
Strong working knowledge of warehouse management practices, safety procedures, and inventory control systems. 3+ years of warehouse, inventory, or logistics management experience in a medical supply, DME, or healthcare environment. Demonstrated leadership experience, including staff supervision and team building. Familiarity with durable medical equipment, including handling, storage, and accreditation requirements. Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Preferred:
Experience using TIMS (Total Information Management System) or a similar DME-specific CRM/inventory software. Understanding of insurance documentation requirements related to DME (Medicare, Medicaid, Private Pay). Knowledge of DOT compliance, infection control, and HIPAA standards. Forklift certification or ability to obtain it.
