We are Heartland Foods, all-natural food company serving families throughout the northeast. We are looking for a positive, energetic, friendly person to help us contact our customers and schedule their food deliveries for them. We have a fleet of 5 trucks and 4 drivers who deliver our products directly to our customers’ homes. You will over see all aspects of our fleet. Ensuring maintenance is done properly and on time. Arrange rental services as necessary etc. To be successful in this role, you must enjoy talking to people – you will, after all, be letting families know when their food will be arriving. You will also put together delivery routes for our drivers that efficiently gets our food from point A to point B. If you don’t have experience planning out a delivery route, we can train you on this. You will thrive in this role if you are organized, accurate, and can prioritize (we can’t teach you this, you’ve either got it or you don’t). We work in a fast-paced environment, so you should be comfortable handling different tasks at the same time. Heartland Foods prides itself on having a positive, supportive culture, so we will expect you to communicate and collaborate with your teammates on a timely basis. If you are uncomfortable with technology or working on a computer, this probably will not be the best fit for you.
