Key Responsibilities:
Ensure the warehouse operates at peak efficiency, with customer satisfaction being the primary goal, by supervising, organizing, directing, and training warehouse employees and establishing, monitoring, and managing operation goals Develop warehouse operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements, equipment utilization, inventory management, SOP processes, and shipping Train and manage a warehouse team to solve day-to-day operational issues Oversee daily operations, while controlling and managing inventory and logistics Review and prepare workflow, manning and space requirements, equipment layout, and action plans while ensuring productivity, quality and customer service standards are met Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations Motivate employees, resolve issues, and make difficult decisions Serve as a conduit of communication between employees and senior management Implement established business strategy, assigning roles and tasks to dedicated team members based on strengths and abilities Identify and implement positive changes in cost reduction and waste elimination Meet and exceed organizational goals with optimum use of workforce and resource allocation Ensure compliance with state and legal policies and procedures
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:
Supervise daily activities of the warehouse, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, floor productivity, shipping, and customer service Schedule and oversee warehouse team to meet the demands of the fulfillment center, and manage the flow and quality of work to maximize efficiency and minimize overtime Inspect equipment, tools, and machinery regularly, and oversee general maintenance as needed Meet regularly with warehouse supervisors to review, analyze, and develop actionable plans for productivity and loss prevention Oversee and manage logistics utilized to transport products to customers and internal facilities, communicating with drivers and air partners to ensure efficient delivery of packages
Physical Requirements:
Requires the ability to stock shelves by climbing ladders or stairs; able to bend, twist, stoop, reach and lift/move inventory up to 40 lbs., standing and walking for long periods of time exposed to warehouse conditions, cold/heat and noise. Requires the ability for close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus
Experience :
3-5 years warehouse management experience required Ability to operate a forklift, hand truck, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment Forklift Certification preferred Good communication, organizational, time management, leadership and mathematical skills Dependable, Reliable and Punctual Inventory, equipment maintenance, data entry and computer skills may be required Able to interface with all levels of staff and management Excellent customer service skills Reply to this ad for consideration or
