Warehouse Manager Charlie’s Bucktails Philadelphia, PA 19129 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the daily activities of the warehouse, ensuring efficient processes, and maintaining high standards of inventory control. This role is crucial for optimizing supply chain operations and enhancing overall productivity within the warehouse environment. Responsibilities Lead and manage all warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory management, and shipping. Implement process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs. Oversee inventory control processes to ensure accurate stock levels and minimize discrepancies. Collaborate with the supply chain team to coordinate logistics and fleet management activities. Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) for tracking inventory and managing workflows effectively. Develop and maintain relationships with third-party logistics providers (3PL) to streamline operations. Train, mentor, and supervise warehouse staff to promote a culture of continuous improvement. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies within the warehouse environment. Skills Proven experience in warehouse management or related fields. Strong understanding of supply chain processes and inventory control techniques. Familiarity with AS400 systems or similar software for inventory management. Excellent organizational skills with a focus on process improvement and continuous improvement methodologies. Knowledge of fleet management principles to optimize transportation efficiency. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also demonstrating leadership capabilities. Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to operational challenges.
