Responsible for organizing, receiving incoming deliveries, managing stock, and maintaining the safety and cleanliness of the warehouse. This role ensures the availability of materials to support field crews and the project schedule. Responsible for maintaining an accurate inventory of meters, tools, uniforms, and safety equipment. Assign meters and materials to installation technicians for daily work assignments. Complete data entry for incoming and outgoing meters. Research and respond to all meter/AMI-related inquiries. Custodial maintenance of complete warehouse facility. Research lost meters. Categorize inventory and complete inventory tracking. Responsible for the timely ordering of meters and all project-related supplies. Review purchase order and shipping arrangement, as necessary. Manage a team of warehouse staff and material handlers as needed. Ensure compliance with OSHA and utility-specific safety guidelines. Performs additional related duties as assigned. Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, advanced skills with Microsoft Excel. Ability to lift 50lbs throughout the day. Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills Knowledge of warehouse and inventory management. Experience using Smartsheet is preferred but not required. All other duties as required or requested by the leadership. Experience in supervision/logistics or warehousing preferred. Must be 18 years of age or older. Ability to manage multiple priorities. Forklift certification or CDL, a plus. High School Diploma or equivalent Prior experience in the Electric and/or Gas Utility industry is preferred. 3+ years of driving experience with minimal non-moving violations.
