Sandlapper Parkway, North Charleston, SC 29420 Job Overview We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Distribution Manager to oversee our local Charleston SC operations. This is a highly visible role with responsibility and accountability for company assets, resources, and customer expectations. Responsibilities Oversee & perform daily distribution operations; including putting up inbound freight & picking/tagging outbound freight. Ensure efficient product flow through the warehouse at all times. Responsible for processing shipping orders in a high-volume environment (30+pkgs./daily) Efficiently & accurately coordinate outbound shipments & ability to communicate & manage drivers daily. Monitor inventory levels; will perform weekly cycle count checks to ensure warehouse product stock levels remain accurate. Evaluates & analyzes inventory variences. Daily interaction with Customer Service Deparment and Warehouse Personnel. Maintain warehouse equipment through determined maintenance schedule. Ensures the safe, clean, and efficient operation of the warehouse according to company standards. Makes recommendations to direct Manager on ways to improve warehouse operations. Promote a friendly, high-performing and relationship-based environment. Overseeing all aspects of the local Charleston SC distribution center. Qualifications Minimum 3+ years of full-time experience in a manufacturing/warehouse/distribution center. Previous management experience (3+ years preferred) Strong working knowledge of PC skills. Must have forklift and pallet-jack experience. Ability to solve problems and use proper judgment, based on the needs of the business. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced, high-volume distribution environment. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task.
