Responsibilities include:
Warehouse scheduling: Coordinate staffing requirements to meet changing conditions. Monitor overtime. Oversee time management of warehouse staff. (Late arrivals, no shows, productivity, coverage.) Responsible for all incoming and outgoing shipping protocols.
To include:
packing prep, palletizing, tracking, troubleshooting, and resolution. Delegate daily tasks and continued responsibilities. Provide a consistent standard of service for customer pick ups and returns. Participate in annual physical inventory, documenting weight and dimensions as needed. Train warehouse staff on the proper use and maintenance of equipment and facilities. Responsible for best practice heavy equipment operation, up to date safety compliance, and truck loading/unloading. Ensure equipment is pulled and loaded for delivery based on confirmed event specifications. Optimization and organization of space. Interdepartmental communication to ensure inbound and outbound deadlines are met. Apprise Office Manager of purchasing needs to meet custom projects, expendables, and general upkeep.
Facilities maintenance:
including daily sweeping and trash disposal. Analyze and resolve work problems, or assist workers in solving work problems. Follow-up to ensure results are achieved.
