Warehouse Manager Renewal by Andersen of Charleston and Hilton Head Summerville, SC 29483 Summary The Warehouse Manager will manage the administration of daily inbound deliveries and outbound orders to customers and installers. They will ensure a safe and secure working environment and adhere to all safety guidelines. The Warehouse Manager will develop, implement, and drive key strategies and processes surrounding the continuous improvements of compliance initiatives of the business while maintaining an organized facility. Qualification Requirements To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Minimum Qualifications Valid Driver’s License required At least 5 years diversified experience in warehouse operations, safety, & compliance in a manufacturing or distribution facility Experience managing safety performance and programs Experience interacting effectively with all levels of teammates and supporting a general labor workforce in a manufacturing, logistics or warehouse environment Works regularly in an office environment Experience Managing a facility with 40 Million Dollars + of inventory yearly. Strong understanding of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols to ensure a compliant and hazard-free work environment. OSHA approved safety Steel or Composite toe shoes are required. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ability to build good relationships in a team oriented environment Ability to proficiently work with other departments Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, and Excel Expert people management capability including hourly teammates and managing overtime Proven ability to execute multiple priorities and approaches to meet objectives Organizational skills, detail oriented Basic Ability to work in a fast paced, high demand environment knowledge of construction materials and tools Effectively plan, allocate, and oversee budgets to ensure financial efficiency and alignment with business objectives. Ability to work independently Supervisory Responsibilities Warehouse Associates, Vehicles, Vehicles maintenance, Installers in the warehouse, Anyone in the warehouse, Subcontractors, and temp workers Essential Functions Coach, lead, and train the warehouse team on appropriate procedures, policies, and safety Achieve production goals through lean management Coordinate with installers regarding inbound/outbound orders Load and unload shipments of products and/or materials; record receipts; enter in computer system Federal and Local municipality regulatory compliance (OSHA, DOL, EEOC, etc.) Maintain the appropriate inventory levels of supplies and materials within the warehouse & report usages Purchasing of material as needed Ensure efficient production of the warehouse Maintain overall cleanliness and organization of all applicable warehouse locations Work with all outside vendors- both current and prospective to ensure best pricing Cycle counts Other job duties as assigned Physical Demands Walking and Standing Lift up to 75lbs
