Our Warehouse Manager will oversee and manage the team and overall operations within our Blythewood warehouse, ensuring the warehouse operates safely at peak efficiency, with customer satisfaction being the primary goal. Monitor and manage operational goals by establishing, following, and enforcing all standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations. This is a hands-on position, so at times you may be assisting in the warehouse, partnering on an order or serving as a back-up or covering a vacation to maximize warehouse safety, productivity and efficiencies. A clean driving record is also required to operate delivery vehicles when necessary.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage daily activities of the warehouse, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, floor productivity, shipping and customer service. Meet regularly with peer/warehouse leads as well as local team to review, analyze, and develop actionable plans for productivity and loss prevention. Be able to perform all duties in the warehouse in an effort to coach, lead and on occasion fulfill customer and company objectives.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Skilled in operating safely and enforcing safety standards as a priority Proven knowledge of warehouse policies and procedures Excellent problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Conduct performance reviews, motivate team members and create continuous strategies to boost productivity. Ensure employees adhere to company policies and legal regulations. Set performance goals and project deadlines that align with the company’s larger plans. Oversee and manage logistics utilized to transport products to our customers HNI facilities. Address problems with work quality, issues between employees and other concerns in an effective, timely manner. Serve as a link between warehouse team and upper management. Willingness to work late or early hours, weekends and overtime if necessary. 2+ years’ experience in a warehouse supervisory role Able to work with all levels of staff.

REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma or the equivalent with basic math aptitude and reading skills Familiarity with scan systems and basic comfort level with computers Prior warehouse and customer service experience Willingness and ability to work in a drug-free workplace as part of our Drug Free Safety Program Must have a clean driving record and be able to pass a 7-year criminal background screen Good physical condition with the ability to bend/lift stretch and regularly lift 50 pounds or more
