This role is pivotal in ensuring we meet production demand, improve operational efficiency, and deliver exceptional service to our clients. You will oversee inbound and outbound logistics, inventory control, team performance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities Staff Management:

Hire, train, and supervise warehouse employees. Foster a high-performance, safe, and collaborative environment.

Production Alignment:

Ensure warehouse operations support production and fulfillment demands efficiently and on schedule.

Inbound Logistics:

Coordinate receipt of inbound shipments, confirm accurate inventory intake, and resolve discrepancies with vendors.

Outbound Logistics:

Ensure outbound shipments are picked, packed, and labeled correctly, and leave the warehouse on time with proper documentation.

Inventory Management:

Maintain accurate inventory records, minimize shrinkage, and ensure physical and digital records align.

Operational Efficiency:

Identify and implement best practices to improve workflow, warehouse layout, and fulfillment speed.

Standard Operating Procedures:

Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance efficiency and safety within the warehouse.

KPI Tracking:

Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure productivity, accuracy, and timeliness across operations.

Compliance:

Monitor compliance with health and safety regulations within the warehouse environment.

Supplier and Vendor Relations:

Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to facilitate smooth procurement processes. Experience 3+ years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain management. 3+ years in a leadership role , supervising warehouse teams or logistics staff. Proven experience with inventory management systems (WMS/ERP) — ideally MRPeasy. Knowledge of warehouse software packages and MS Office proficiency . Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform financial analysis related to inventory and procurement. Strong understanding of inbound/outbound logistics, shipping carriers , and fulfillment best practices (e.g., 3PLs, DTC, B2B). Demonstrated ability to track and improve KPIs such as pick/pack accuracy, shipping timelines, and inventory accuracy. Experience in hiring, training, and performance management of warehouse personnel. Strong problem-solving and process improvement skills — experience with lean warehousing, 5S, or Six Sigma is a plus. Ability to create SOPs , maintain compliance, and promote warehouse safety standards. Effective communication skills and comfort collaborating across departments. Must be hands-on — willing to step in when needed and lead by example. Experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus.
